My favorite part of the day is that first morning from my son. Each morning I come in his room and we get dressed for the day. Once he’s dressed he jumps up into my arm and says “squeeze!” in his little toddler voice while he squeezes me with all his little might. It’s one of the things I’m going to miss most about toddler hood. It sets up our day on a positive note. It lets him know Mama missed him overnight, and she’s excited to see him. I’m not quite sure what I’ll do when he’s a stinky teenager who will only give me grunts and single syllables. My heart will probably break a bit.
That’s what I think this week’s podcast episode will do for you, teacher friend. I think it will set up your week (or next year if you’re already on summer vacation) on the right foot. Today we are ditching those dingy whiteboards, smooshed expo markers and old socks and we’re trading them in for an easy to use online whiteboard.
Hang tight, teacher friend, because this online teaching resource does more than display a plain white page with a pen. This edtech tool is an online collaboration whiteboard you can implement to return to the collaborative lessons of your dreams. Not feeling collaborative teaching for your next lesson? No worries. This works as a teacher led lecture tool tool, but has oh so much more.
Give this week’s episode of Simple Tools for the Online Teacher podcast a preview below, and then click on the link in the caption to give it a complete lesson. It’s short and sweet and includes ideas to implement it into your classroom at the very end, so make sure to stay tuned.
Remember, teacher friend, this is episode 3 in a 5 part series of different swaps you can make for the different online teaching tools you use within your classroom. If you don’t want to wait for the final episodes to drop and want to get started today you can grab it here!
