Hey, I’m Online Teacher Allyson.
I’ve been through quite the journey to get here. I graduated college to become an elementary school teacher. I got a job right out of college and WORKED. I was miserable. I knew I loved teaching, but I didn’t want to stay in the public school system forever. I thought I wanted to teach college students how to become a teacher.
Fast forward three years, and I got laid off. Finding a teaching job in California is HARD. Especially when you’re there on military orders so your credential isn’t cleared yet.
Fast forward two more years. I had a one year old and was EXHAUSTED but, I couldn’t imagine missing a single milestone to go back to the classroom. So, I started teaching online. I’ve since taught online in many different forms. I’ve been given the gift of time to learn how to teach online. I’ve learned how to be effective, engaging, and efficient.
Now, my mission in life is to help fellow stay at home parents earn an income teaching online as well. My greatest wish is to give you the freedom to be there for your kids, and earn the income you need (or want馃槈). Please let me know how I can help!
